I have known Peter for just under year while working at Quantum IT. The majority of our communication has been via phone and email while I was working on the RMIT Global WIL Project. Peter has a tremendous amount of technical knowledge and is able to communicate solutions, issues and product limitation to non technical stakeholders. He is able to understand how end user issues will impact the business operations. For this reason while working offsite I would first contact Peter before anyone else before escalate issues. Peter was able to understand stakeholder concerns and liaised with the development team to get work arounds and solutions underway with accurate ETAs that could be relayed back to the client. I have worked with Peter for the last few years on several projects, primarily websites, and not only is he always helpful, he is always fun to work with too. He trained me in using Umbraco, and always explained things in a way that was easy to understand (for us less tech savvy folk :)) - he keeps things simple, then delves deeper into the more technical aspects. Peter and I work together in the clinical services team building platforms, apps, and APIs for EasyVisit and other IPN medical centres projects. I mainly focus on the frontend. Peter is more of a backend guy. He has been easy to work with, and often gives me advice, and helped me recently to prepare for a team workshop where I presented on Angular 101. He is always happy, calm, and is a funny guy. A pleasure to work with. But he also has a serious side. He is very caring about his team members, and freely gives shares his wisdom and knowledge with me others who recently joined the team. I feel is he more than just a colleague, he is a friend. We are even planning to play cricket together very soon and often have lunches where we talk together about technology which he is fanatical about. What I love most is that he is pedantic about quality and he has no fear of saying no to the business to ensure that we can use the best of breed technology stacks and always do things right. He is a strong digital professional and I would love to work with Peter again some time in the future.
